The highest hill-enclaved lake of Bangladesh. This beautiful, small, natural, sweet water lake was created almost 2000 years back, on top of the Bandarban hills. It is situated about 2700 feet above sea level. Neither any stream falls in it, nor any stream goes out. but it never dries up. Experts believe that it was created by collection of rain water in the crater of a dead volcano. Local legend is that this lake was the home of a dragon god. Every year during April - May, its otherwise crystal clear water become muddy, which also fuels the local myth. After the monsoon, when everything on hills becomes lavishly green, this lake turns into a real beauty The villagers have arranged adequate housing and fooding facilities for any number of tourists. adjascent army camp has made this place fully secured.
